The plumbers started work yesterday. And they brought this big boy with them. Most of the day was spent busting out the concrete.
This is how Eb felt about that. If looks could kill . . .! After taking a flying leap and scrambling for about 10 seconds to get his hind quarters to follow, he was able to take refuge in his favorite hiding spot between the joists.
Today's big job is digging the hole for the macerating sump pump. It didn't take long to hit hard pan. The guy had to start using a drill to break it up.
And imagine his dismay when the pump that arrives turns out to be bigger than expected. This thing is huge!
I know there's a long way to go yet, but this is one major step towards a bathroom of my own. I'm excited, to say the least!
